Did you know that this Friday is Stress Down Day? Stress Down Day is an annual event organised by Lifeline, when we are all encouraged to take time out of our busy lives to relax, reflect and enjoy pleasurable down time. Did you know that Lifeline takes nearly half a million calls each year from people who are in emotional distress and require support?
This Friday, I will be encouraging people to enjoy the craft of stamping, which is my ultimate stress down! The event details can be found HERE. Come along and say hi! You’ll also be able to try out a great range of other stress free activities, as well as refreshments throughout the night!
I had come up with a simple make and take for the night (as well as a pretty cool door prize to donate!) that would suit all levels of crafty experience. I chose the Butterfly Prints set as there is something soothing about butterflies, and the sentiment reflects what Lifeline is aiming to achieve. You just never know when a smile, an outreached hand or a kind gesture will make the day of someone in need.
I really hope that I am able to share my love of papercraft with as many people as possible this Friday night! I also hope they love the card, feel proud of their achievements and walk away with a smile on their dial!
