Funky Home Decor

Another sneak peek for you – this time, it’s a funky collage frame using new products (5 days to go, I can smell it!) from the 2011/12 Ideas Book and Catalogue! The Flirtatious Designer Series Paper is the matching paper to the fabric which I used in my previous post. LUSH!

I quite like it against my Celery Green walls – so fresh and springy!

Fun with Fabric!

You weren’t imagining things yesterday – I did say fabric! In just 8 days or so, you will be able to browse a coordinating range of Stampin’ Up! fabrics, available in the new 2011/12 Ideas Book and Catalogue!

My lovely Ms. 9 (above) was a very willing model for the headband which I made using the ‘Flirtatious Designer Fabric’ range. Never one to miss out on anything, Ms. 7 decided that she would also like to be a model and ‘make sure my picture goes on your blog’. Nothing like a bit of sibling rivalry now is there? Ms. (nearly) 12 just laughed when I asked if she too would like to model the band. ‘I don’t wear pink, you know that Mum’. See, they don’t stay precious and cute forever!

If you would like a copy of the new catalogue, please CONTACT ME and I will send one to you right away! Between now and the launch date of 1st September 2011, I will be more than happy to post your Ideas Book and Catalogue for free (books are $12.95 excl. postage). 🙂

30 Days of Creativity (Day 23) Plaid

Hmm, plaid. Lumberjack? Bad school uniform fabric? I think not!

I didn’t have any plaid patterned paper, so I decided to make some. All I had to do was find some striped paper and add the horizontal lines using a matching Stampin’ Write marker. In this case, it was my favourite – Certainly Celery.

I whizzed the newly created plaid paper through my Bigshot with the pillow box die and VIOLA! – I had a cute little gift box. I topped it with some whisper white ribbon and a scallop circle flower to finish. I will admit, I started to have thoughts of Christmas. 🙂
